Big Bets

Made in honor of Dorothy and Kemmons Wilson’s love for Memphis, these are larger investments designed to improve the general quality of life in Memphis.

Central criteria for Big Bets might include:

• Enriching the lives of individuals and families across socio-economic and other boundaries in Memphis

• Building the capacity, infrastructure and/or reach of key Memphis institutions and leveraging funds for them from other Memphis donors

• Honoring the Wilson family legacy and/or connecting to deeply held family values

• Creating a sustained, long-term impact on the city of Memphis

PLEASE NOTE: First time applicants are not eligible for Big Bets gifts. To be eligible for a Big Bets gift you must have a history of connectivity to the Wilson family or a significant history of giving from KWFF.
